About Clarks Landing
In 1878, Roderick Clark, a local boat builder, purchased a waterfront property on Arnold Avenue in Point Pleasant, New Jersey for a little over $1,000. The business grew to become a popular recreational spot for families from all over the state. First arriving by rail, a horse and buggy completed their trip to Clarks Landing for picnicking, boating and swimming.
Today, visitors find a modern marina and boat sales operation not only in Maryland, but New Jersey and Virginia as well. The marinas provide complete services for avid boaters including new and pre-owned boat sales, docking slips and full-service parts and maintenance operations. To the sports fisherman, Clarks Landing is known as "New Jersey's Tournament Center". On the Chesapeake, the Clarks Landing family is home to Sea Ray, Carver, Cruisers Yachts, and Silverton owners.
As our operations continue to grow, our everyday goal continues to be our "commitment to optimum customer service". Clarks Landing will always be a showcase for world-class boats, equipment and facilities. Combined with our strong values of yesteryear, we have clearly distinguished ourselves in the boating industry for over a century and plan to do so for decades to come.
